We've been coaching since 2013, with more than 10,000 hours each. Horizon exists because we believe training is for something: the moments that make life more interesting.

Horizon started with a simple frustration: fitness kept promising people a look, when what changes lives is a capability. We built Horizon to train people from the everyday to the epic, so the body is never the reason you said no.

Ten years ago, I didn't think I'd be here today.
I've been a personal trainer for 13 years. On the surface, it looked like I had a passion for helping people thrive. But deep down, I was drowning. I fell into a deep depression. I was extremely unhappy with the life I was living. It got so dark that I tried to take my own life.
That was my rock bottom. It was also the foundation for everything I've built since.
Recovery didn't happen overnight. It happened one step, one pedal, and one stroke at a time. I found healing in the outdoors. I climbed mountains to feel small. I cycled across the UK to feel strong. I swam a mile in the sea to feel alive.
Through the discipline of training and the incredible support of my community, especially my beautiful wife, I clawed my way back. I didn't just build a body I'm proud of; I built a lifestyle I'm proud of.
Now, I don't just train clients to look good. I train them to feel capable, resilient, and alive. I help them build a life they actually want to live. If you're ready to thrive, let's do this together.

I've been asked so many times why I'm a personal trainer, and I don't think I've ever shared it properly.
I want to help people recognise their capabilities. Originally I wanted to be a life coach, but at 28 I had enough wisdom to understand that most people under 40 don't know enough shit to warrant that job title. So I went the practical route: what was the highest-leverage process I could take someone through that would profoundly change their life?
People assume the gym is about competition or vanity. Maybe. But fucking hell it has good lessons along the way. Capability. Resilience. Humility. Goal setting. Failure. Patience. Breakthroughs. Confidence. Trust. Momentum.
I've taken enough people through the elation of "I never thought I'd be able to do that!" moments to be certain: building a capable body changes lives.
A while ago I lost someone in my family. We weren't close, but I often wonder how different my life would be if we had been. He was an unapologetic story-seeker who refused to be told who he should be, and he had one of the most interesting lives I've known because of it. He lived more than most. Not longer. More.
That's my part of the Horizon vision. It's not about looking good or lifting heavy. It's the fire that comes with realising you're not held back by your body, and understanding that the stories you tell will shape your life more than anything you could ever buy.
